Transfer it
If you are passing your hosting operations to a partner or selling your business, you can transfer your organization to another active teammate:
- In Organization settings, select Transfer organization.
- Pick which teammate should become the new owner, and confirm the transfer.
The designated teammate becomes the primary owner immediately. You remain on the team under your existing role permissions, and you gain the ability to create a brand-new organization of your own. If you do not have any teammates on your account yet, invite them first.
Delete it
- In Organization settings, select Delete organization.
- Type the organization's exact name to confirm your decision.
Team members lose access immediately, and connected TV screens will stop showing your guides. All organization data will be permanently wiped out after 30 days. Prior to that 30-day cutoff, an owner can restore the organization from the profile menu, bringing back all properties, cards, and TV pairings exactly as they were.
On a paid plan, deleting an organization cancels automatic renewals immediately so you are never billed again. The plan remains active through the end of the period you already paid for. If you restore the organization during that window, your subscription continues normally; if you had already cancelled the plan manually beforehand, it remains cancelled.
If it doesn't work
- "Only the person an organization belongs to can transfer it": the primary account owner must perform the transfer.
- "To transfer ownership … invite another member to your team first": you must have at least one other team member on your roster before you can transfer ownership. See Invite your team.
