Rename, move or remove a screen

Rename a screen on the Devices page, remove it, or move it to a different property. Removed screens stay reserved to your account for 30 days.

The Devices page lists every screen connected to your active property, showing you exactly when each TV was last online.

Rename a screen

Select Rename next to the screen you want to update, enter a recognizable label like "Downstairs TV", and select Save name.

Remove a screen

  1. Select Remove next to the screen.
  2. Select Remove screen to confirm your choice.

As soon as you confirm, the TV stops displaying your guide and returns to its initial pairing screen. To reconnect the TV later, someone at the property will need to pair it again. For your safety, the removed screen stays reserved to your account for 30 days, which prevents anyone else from pairing it to their own account.

Move a screen to another property

Each TV is linked to a single property at a time. If you want to move a screen to a different home or room, remove it here first, then pair it again and select your other property. Check out Pair a TV for step-by-step pairing instructions.

"Signed back in on its own"

If you see the message "Signed back in on its own" on your dashboard, the TV refreshed its connection automatically using its internal hardware ID. This typically happens after the TV gets a factory reset or the Bienvue app is reinstalled. If no one at your place did this, remove the screen from your dashboard and pair it fresh.

If it doesn't work

  • "That screen is not on this account any more": another team member or browser tab may have removed the device. Refresh the page to see the updated list.
  • A screen hasn't been seen in a while: make sure the TV is powered on, connected to Wi-Fi, and has the Bienvue app open. Roku devices sometimes return to their main home screen after sitting idle; check the "Keep the guide on screen" section in Pair a TV.
